Advance Capital Partners completes acquisition of Unitur

Ljubljana, 20th May 2025 – After completion of suspensive conditions and approval from agency for protection of competition, Advance Capital Partners has successfully completed the acquisition of Unitur. Special investment fund, managed by Advance Capital Partners, has therefore acquired 100 % equity stake in one of the largest Slovenian tourism companies. In addition to the purchase price the fund has also assumed the company’s financial obligations.

»Unitur is the fund’s first investment in the tourism sector, and our plans are ambitious and focused on developing both winter and summer tourism. The company recognized years ago that in order to ensure long-term sustainable operations, it would need to strengthen its offering to attract guests also in the spring, summer and autumn months as well. Only in this way can Unitur achieve sufficient occupancy levels and provide a stable, predictable environment for employees. Undoubtedly, one of the bigger challenges lies in the transformation of Rogla and Zreče into a year-round destination capable of offering a wide range of activities for different types of visitors in every season. Still, I’m confident that Unitur has strong potential to develop skiing, health, adventure, and wellness tourism, which have so far remained largely underutilized. With Advance Capital Partners, Unitur now has a financially strong and development-oriented owner.
